The global unions stand with her.<\/p>\r\n<p>Sending her <a href=\"https:\/\/uniglobalunion.org\/news\/uni-solidarity-idwf-elizabeth-tang\/\">solidarity<\/a>, UNI General Secretary Christy Hoffman said, &#8220;Elizabeth is a dedicated trade unionist who works with commitment and with the highest level of integrity. I was fortunate to work with her closely in the 2000s, and she has always put special focus on the \u2018invisible\u2019 and vulnerable workers who are left behind. Her approach has consistently been that we must lift wages and conditions for\u00a0<em><strong>all<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>workers, not only those in more privileged circumstances. She has earned UNI\u2019s complete respect.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>The CGU&#8217;s full statement is below.<\/p>\r\n<p><a
