Artificial intelligence was a top theme at the World Economic Forum\u2019s annual meeting in Davos this week, and UNI Global Union General Secretary Christy Hoffman was in the Swiss mountain village to stress the necessity of collective bargaining \u2013 especially over technologies like AI.<\/p>\r\n
The overall theme of this year\u2019s meeting was \u201crebuilding trust,\u201d and Christy Hoffman made the point that for trust to be established around the implementation of AI, employers must negotiate with unions on its introduction.<\/p>\r\n
