I have been on hunger strike for over three weeks to protest poverty wages, unsafe working conditions and ongoing intimidation at the Swedish-owned company.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Despite generating billions in profits for Evolution Gaming, we are paid just \u20ac1.50 to \u20ac2.10 per hour. To get wages that would allow us to support ourselves with dignity, we launched a strike over a month ago that was supported by thousands of my coworkers. The company has responded by threatening to cut 1,000 jobs and suspending health insurance for striking workers, even for pregnant women and people with cancer.<\/p>\r\n<p>That is why a group of us took the grave step of going on a hunger strike. Our situation is serious.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Our union, EVO, a UNI Global Union affiliate, is fighting for the 8,000 Evolution workers in Georgia and others in the online gaming industry facing exploitation. <strong>We urgently need your support to continue this fight.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>Please donate to help us stand up for dignity, fair wages and the right to organize without fear.
