On 8 October 2020 UNI MEI, represented by its Director Daphne Tepper, participated in an online talk organised in the context of the German Presidency of the EU by Pro Quote Film.
Aimed at sharing best practices on how to enhance the presence of women on and off screen, the event gathered women professionals from across Europe to discuss the many facets of the fight for equality still to be won to achieve real progress in the field.
With a fascinating diversity of women voices, the event highlighted the many tools that have already proven their efficiency to enhance equality and diversity in different EU countries such as: the Wonder Women TV podcast and the TripleC collective in the UK, Manusfestet – the manifesto of the Danish Writers’ Guild, or the European Gender Equality and Diversity Handbook prepared by the European social partners and coordinated by UNI MEI.
