Major French casino operator Groupe PARTOUCHE and UNI Global Union announced a Global Agreement codifying the company’s commitment to human rights and labour standards, particularly the right to join a union and collectively bargain.
The agreement, signed in Paris, has provisions for improved worker health and safety programs, access to union representatives, the ability to join a union without fear, and respect for the UN and ILO labour standards.
Christy Hoffman, General Secretary of UNI, said, “PARTOUCHE is leading the way for French gaming companies and strengthening global standards in the rapidly growing gaming industry. Workers will be able to collectively address issues at work without fear of retaliation and have a respectful, safe conditions on the job.”
“A productive and positive relationship with our employees is essential for our continued success,” said executive board member at Groupe Partouche Ari Sebag. “This partnership with UNI and its affiliates is an excellent opportunity to improve dialog with the PARTOUCHE workforce and uphold our commitment to labour rights.”
French union federations FO-FEC and CFDT Services, UNI members active in the gaming sector, were also witnesses to the agreement.

We know that for many years UNI has strongly promoted such agreements because they open the way to dialogue and exchange with key companies in many different sectors across the regions. We see this as a positive development,” said UNI Gaming Global President, Daniel Amoroso.
“UNI Gaming has already signed global agreements with Codere in Spain and Caliente in Mexico. We are very pleased to sign the agreement today with Groupe Partouche and we hope it will allow us to develop in the region and contribute to the welfare of the growing number of employees in the sector,“ he added.
UNI Global Union, based in Nyon, Switzerland, represents more than 20 million workers from over 150 different countries in the fastest growing sectors in the world – skills and services. It has more than 50 Global Agreements across its 12 sectors. UNI Gaming is the largest labour organisation of gaming industry workers in the world.
Groupe PARTOUCHE is a leader in gaming and hospitality who employs more than 4,100 workers across its expansive operations. The company owns 43 casinos, 21 hotels, 120 restaurants, and five spas in France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Tunisia.
