After 5 months of firm negotiations and only after the threat of industrial action had been announced by our affiliate the Trade Union of Printing and Publishing Industry of Croatia, an agreement with the company TISAK d.d. was reached on 19th December 2018 and the most important union demand was accepted with an average of 10% wage increase for most of the 3’300 workers of this largest distributor of newspaper and magazines in Croatia
The Annex to the Collective Agreement for 2019 was signed on 21st December 2018 and a peaceful solution was achieved. The current level and content of workers’ rights are retained and a fixed addition to the monthly salary will result in the income increase by an average of 10% which will bring the most benefit to the lower and middle income workers
