Participants to the European Sectoral Social Dialogue in Commerce who are meeting in Brussels on the 8th of March, express their solidarity to all women across the world and in particular, to the women in Belgium who are going on strike of International Women’s Day.
International Woman’s Day is a day to observe and reflect on those issues that women, in all walks of society encounter and fight against every day, such as pay and workplace inequality, gender inequalities, healthcare, education, racism, violence against women and control over women’s bodies.
It is a moment to reflect on the importance of women in society and their invaluable contributions to all aspects of life.
