Nyon Declaration

In 2011, player associations from around the world came together in Nyon, Switzerland, to explore the need to address global sport’s governance crisis and reposition athletes at the centre of sport. Expressing their commitment to having an equal say at global sport’s key tables of influence and power, they adopted the Nyon Declaration, which laid the foundation of the World Players Association.
