Members of UNI’s trade union alliance for the multinational telecom operator Orange participated today in the international day of action at the ILO to recall that labor is not a commodity and to protect the right to strike and trade union rights.
The alliance also issued a declaration calling upon Orange to ensure that all its employees enjoy the same rights and conditions as well as the same access to collective bargaining and to freedom of association. The alliance further demands that Orange takes step to guarantee decent work and a fair remuneration for all, and to seize its practice of subcontracting and reorganization.
