From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a time to join efforts and galvanize actions to end violence against women and girls around the world.

As part of the efforts the UNI Equal Opportunities Department is currently carrying out to support the adoption of an ILO Convention Against Violence Against Women and Men at the Workplace, our 16 Days of Activism and our Breaking the Circle! Campaign (www. http://en.breakingthecircle.org) will continue to focus this year on 16 new pledges to end gender-based violence at work.

16 pledges for 16 days. 16 commitments to help us build safe and equal working environments for all.

The first 8 pledges relate to our commitments as individuals and the remaining 8, to our commitments as a group.

The 16 days of activism are a time to act, to raise our voices. Please take pictures with our pledges (see our website http://en.breakingthecircle.org to download them) , use your social media platforms to support our campaign and tag us so we can share it too! You can find us on:
